Our Prayer Ministry uplifts all persons who are in need or who are celebrating God's blessings. You do not need to be a member of Saint John to request our prayers.
If you would like to be included in our prayers or would like to uplift a family member or friend who needs our prayers, you may call the church office at (563) 872-5849 with your request or fill in the form below. Please provide the name - explanation of need or joy is optional. The first name only will be used. We will also include these prayer concerns during the prayers in our worship services. Please respect the privacy of an individual by asking permission of the individual or their family first. Persons will remain on the prayer list for 3 weeks. If there is a need to continue our prayers, please notify the church office by phone or resubmit this form.
The mission of our Parish Prayer Ministry is to pray for our community and beyond. We include our family, friends, and those we may not know for whom we have become aware that prayer is desired. We believe that God hears all prayers and responds to them in various ways, including the relationship of God's people with each other.
Our hope is to involve as many people praying for others as possible, and to have all people in need being lifted up in prayer. If you would like to be involved with the Parish Prayer Ministry as a member of the Prayer Ministry Chain, contact the Church Office at (563) 872-5849 or indicate your desire to be a part of this ministry on the above form.
Our Prayer Chain is made up of individuals who have responded to the invitation to serve in our Parish Prayer Ministry through group praying. It requires nothing more than a phone call or email and a commitment to daily pray for uplifted individuals or concerns. If you are interested in being a part of this growing ministry, just contact the church office by phone or indicate your desire to be a part of this ministry on the form.
